The financial aid given by the French Basketball Federation to AS Monaco Basket has sparked anger among French clubs. The club is in financial difficulty and its players had threatened to go on strike for their trip to Chalon on February 8th. ADA Blois president Paul Seignolle reacted by saying: 'I am a president in anger. While I had solicited, at the last general assembly, in June, that clubs could receive a part of the profits that the LNB had realized, we learn that the LNB plays the role of AGS and releases 500,000 € to allow the match to take place, and we dare to speak of fairness.'
